"I've never hated grabbing a thousand light boxes more, but I love the result of all my hard work and Indiana-styled ventures. " -Jwan
At first when I was getting ready to take this picture I was upset because I thought that strong and vibrant sunlight would be the holy grail of mixed lighting photos, so I threw a Jwan fit and listened to really angsty lana del rey songs, but I then realized that it's not about what you get but what you make of it. When it comes to mixed lighting you can't depend on what the natural lights like, but you can definitely accept whichever level of light you're given and enhance it with a little thing us mere folk like to call electricity. If this had just natural light rather than mixed lighting, it wouldn't have been as nice as this photo is, and p.s i'm not gloating i'm just saying that personally I think it's a nice photo.
As you can tell the light was on the left hand side shining on my pretty lil Bosnian cherub Daria. I wanted shadows to be a prominent aspect of my photo because I think they're amazingly perfectly wonderfully breath-takingly (and whatever adjective you see fit) beautiful, and as per usual this photo was candidly taken, cause dats how i do. I loved this assignment, and mainly this unit, because we'd just been given the opportunity to do whatever we wanted to do, and express ourselves rather than following a set guideline, which is seriously appreciated.
Cheers
